Feingold Says Gay Marriage Is Fein...

WASHINGTON - Sen. Russ Feingold (news, bio, voting record), a potential presidential candidate, said Tuesday he supports giving gays and lesbians the right to marry, again positioning himself to the left of possible 2008 rivals.
"Gay and lesbian people in our country are fighting a mean-spirited movement to harm them and to discriminate against them," Feingold, D-Wis., said in a telephone interview. "I stand with them against that movement, and I'm proud to stand with them."
Feingold said he decided to express his support for gay marriage in response to a Wisconsin constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage and civil unions, which will appear on the state ballot in November.
This guy has bowling balls! It's about time somebody got off the fence and said what they really felt without worrying to whom they have to pander for votes. Good for old Russ Feingold and I hope he is the Democratic front runner for 2008...because he is going to make it interesting!!!
Oopsie! I almost forgot!!!
Read this telling story of a wayward Homeland Security Dude!
Maybe just one more Tom DeCay cartoon...

Yay Feingold, he's our man! But I worry how well he'll do when my Mom, a liberal Dem doesn't think gays should be able to marry. But she WOULD vote for him because he's a Dem and from our state.

Damn, Feingold is my dream candidate for president. I guess there are voters who think gay marriages are a bigger threat to our country than idiot, lying, assholes in the white house declaring war on countries because they might be thinking about not liking us. That's sad.

Feingold is definitely looking good for the upcoming elections and he's one I would support. As for gay marriage, I don't care who wants to get married. If they want to give it a run, I say go for it.

Poor Feingold. He's so right about everything he doesn't stand a chance. Ain't that somethin'? If you don't pander to hate and fear in this country you have no chance of getting elected.

see, russ didn't need to worry about people who like bush voting for him after the censure thing, anyway. so bowling balls...maybe. at least he is saying what he means, that's so friggin rare anymore. sad, really, that honesty has been dead in washington for so long. i'm the person who doesn't think we should make a law about it at the federal level. let the states decide. or just let them do it and stop bitching, maybe...
according to every monotheistic religion everyone here is going to hell for not believing in the true god, anyway so let's just blast the sinning thing right open. family values forever!*
*by family values i mean: cheating, stealing, lying, having bastard children, killing innocent people, terrorism, greed and sloth. ah the good old american values!
