Buh Bye Wolfowitz!...
Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out...or better still...here's a quarter you jackass...go call someone who cares!Bank may vote no confidence....duhhh...you think so?
The World Bank executive board has concluded that the bank's president, Paul D. Wolfowitz, broke ethics rules in engineering a hefty pay raise for his girlfriend, and plans to try to end his tenure next week, senior bank officials said yesterday.
Board members do not want to vote to fire Wolfowitz, the officials said, since that might provoke a rupture with the bank's largest shareholder, the United States. Instead, they are inclined to adopt a resolution saying they have lost confidence in him, hoping that will persuade him to resign. More...
If this guy gets off because the board is afraid of offending the United States...(sparks flying out my eyes...smoke spiraling from my nostrels!)...are these people insane? Now I don't care what persons do in their private lives...their own time...but what this guy did was appallingly wrong. I'd rather he got a blow job on company time in few view of the staffers...that wouldn't have cost the tax payers anything much but some time.
But this Skeezer and his Moll got privileges of the monetary kind...with very special conditions and incentives. This guy is head of the World Bank...put there by our own Dumb Dubbie if that tells you anything! And of course this is after he has been an architect (too good of a word) of the Iraq invasion and war. I just want to kick him in the damn nads! He probably doesn't even have any by now...if I had my way he'd be singing soprano at the Met.
He has the nerve to say he realized he'd made a mistake...but I won't do it again. Please just let my girlfriend stay in her position (on her knees) and keep raking in the bucks for doing nothing but being on her knees in front of me. I really think that is important you know...I have my needs to think of. Being head of the World Bank is hard work! Wah wah wah! So he's clearly been wrong...he certainly hasn't seen to the needs of the world's poor...he's spent more time seeing to it that his paramour has gotten lots of freebies...and that is what whores like them do. And that is what a whore of a president of the United States 2000-2008 would do for his cronies that fill most of the positions in his administration! I want to hit something!
Well, screw the United States and the World Bank and the horse that it road in on. If these people on this Bank's board really cared for things to be on the up and up...(they are probably dirty too and couldn't withstand an inquiry themselves) they'd stand up for right and do something about it. They'd kick his ass so far out there he'd never find it again. The girlfriend would have to go on a safari to find it. How do these people get away with this stuff? I'd have been clapped in irons and they'd have thrown away the key faster than fast! Scumsuckers!

I don't get why the Bank is afraid to fire him instead of just "inducing" him to leave.
They say they don't want to ruffle the US's feathers, but the Shrimpie is going to do what he wants anyway, so they may just as well unload the conniving crapweasel and go about their business.
Nothing worse than a weak-willed banker.

Obviously Wolfie doesn't take the mission of the bank to heart. I mean they are supposed to be there to get funds to 3rd World Countries and starving people and he throws their money around like it's a cheap sleeze joint. I hope he is run out of town and forced to live with the people who were supposed to be helped.

They voted a non-binding resolution? Is that like the resolution Congress tried to get passed that had no fucking teeth regarding the war in Iraq?

I salute you Wolfowitz for fighting for your job. In fact, this may be your last. To the Board, please do not be cowed into a creating a summit of finance ministers because Bush tells you so. Your decision is final. Screw the proposed summit. It is a waste of time!!! And to you Robin Cleveland, hasta la vista, baby!!!
